1. NEWS AND COMMENT
* WELCOME
Welcome
to the very first issue of the Sannyasin Newsletter. Be sure to save this somewhere
safe. First issues have a habit of increasing dramatically in value over the
years. This could become a collector's item .. . (just kidding).
It
is with great pleasure that I welcome you to our growing community of souls who
want to help raise human consciousness and make a difference in the world. If
you have any comments about this newsletter, either its content or its format,
I would really like to receive them so as to serve you better in the future.
Recently
I had a recurrence of my intestinal problem. The condition is known as
Diverticulosis, and when it becomes inflamed (and painful) it is known as
Diverticulitis (anything with "itis" on the
end means inflamed i.e. tonsillitis, appendicitis). After extensive tests both
in the doctor’s surgery and in the hospital, the specialist pronounced his
diagnosis and remedy.
"You
have Acute Diverticulitis, and this is not the first time. Take these Antibiotics
for 5 days. When everything calms down, come back for more tests and fix an
appointment with me. The tests will show me which part of your intestines I
need to cut out".
"Wait
a minute", said I, somewhat dismayed, "What about an alternative
approach. You know, a holistic approach. One that
treats the whole person"
"I
don't know anything about that. I am a surgeon. You must have the operation
before it's too late. Next time your intestinal wall might burst and you could
die. The sooner I operate the better. My secretary will fix an appointment for
you"
"Yes, but can you at least tell me what causes
Diverticulitis?"
"There is no medical proof. We don't really
know".
"So
you are not interested in treating the cause of this condition, simply cutting
out part of the offending organ. If you don't treat the cause, then it might
come back again, and I might need another operation".
"Surgery
is the normal way to treat this condition. OK? See you in three weeks".
With
that the surgeon left. I went home and immediately began to research
Diverticulitis on the internet. I was convinced that I could cure myself. If
the human body can replace virtually every one of its billions of cells on a
regular basis, then surely, if I can help my body by creating the right
conditions, then it will heal itself. Perfect health is the normal condition
for the human body to be in, and it is this condition that our bodies are
programmed to create and maintain. The medical profession treat the results of
an holistic imbalance by either chopping bits of the body out, or pumping the
body full of chemicals - most of which have not been adequately and thoroughly
tested for side-effects. Did you know that the number 4 killer in the USA is
people dying from the side effects of the drugs they take for their
illnesses? I also found out that after
having part of their intestines cut out, in 25% of cases, repeat surgery is
necessary. Another reason for me to find a way of genuine
healing this condition.
My
research lead me to two websites that deserve a
mention here. The first concerns what is
called "Cellular Medicine" and the founder is Dr. Rath.
Based upon the same premise, that given the right conditions then the human
body will heal itself, Dr. Rath
has formulated several supplements which contain only vitamins, minerals and
trace elements. His research shows that with the western diet, we simply cannot
provide our bodies with all of the vitamins they need for optimum performance,
His results have often been spectacular. Take a look for yourself at:
Dr. Rath also lays bare the huge lies and manipulation practiced by the pharmaceutical industries whose real agenda is to have more sick people so that they can sell more drugs. What is very concerning is that the pharmaceutical industry would now like to control the food supplement industry as well (vitamins, and other natural supplements). If they win, and they are trying to get this through the UN at the moment,

then they will have a monopoly, another cartel, on the
production and distribution of vitamins. The ultimate objective (unbelievable
though this sounds) being to stop the sale of things which allow the body to
heal itself and things which promote good health. A healthy population is
contrary to their interests. A sick population is in their interests,
especially of this population has become dependant on their unlimited supply of
noxious chemicals, which they call medication. Read it for yourself on the web

I have changed my diet to vegetarian, plus more fruit (especially apples), and
sent off for Dr. Rath's vitamin supplements. Next
thing is to order a juicer so that I can juice my vegetables and eat my fruit.
In two weeks, the Diverticulitis has returned to its more comfortable
Diverticulosis state, I feel great, and have told the surgeon that he will have
to wait a bit longer before he can engrave my name on his scalpel. Watch this space . .
